Frequently Asked Questions
Where will coaching take place?
I am based internationally and split my time between Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
Coaching sessions take place at a convenient time to suit your schedule and tend to take place online via Zoom.
Is coaching confidential?
Absolutely.
Trust is one of the most important factors in a coaching session. In order for coaching to be effective, clients can be assured of full confidentiality at all times. I follow the strict code of ethics of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
how do i know coaching is for me?
I offer a complimentary 20-minute discovery session for clients to talk about what is happening in their lives and what support they may be looking for and what goals they would like to achieve. It is also an opportunity to get to know one another and build that all important trust which will be vital as I partner with the client on their coaching journey.
What coaching is not…
Coaching is not therapy or counselling. As a coach, I focus on the present and move clients forward to achieve their goals. We focus on building a positive mindset to overcome challenges. A client has to want to come to coaching; it is not really effective if clients are told they should come to coaching.
How long are the sessions and how many sessions do i need?
Session duration can vary from 30 minutes as a minimum but generally are an hour. Depending on the complexity of the coaching topic, three sessions may be needed to get into action mode, re-energise and iron out small issues. At the other end of the scale, 10 sessions may be needed to become “unstuck” from worries and stresses, gain new tools, start thinking outside the realm of what they are used to, allow new perspectives to emerge and allow clients to be their best versions of themselves.
How do I book?
To book your 20-minute discovery session, please use the booking box at the top of this page.
Generally, bookings will be organised between the client and myself at a convenient time to suit the client’s schedule.
